At the beginning of November we welcomed James Silverman onto the team. James replaces David as our Facility and Volunteer Coordinator and comes with a background in sustainability and youth work.

James is passionate about the environment and driven by issues such as sustainability and social justice. His work with RSY and NCS gave him experience working with vulnerable young people across London. In 2020 he founded U&I Globalso he also brings with him the experience of building sustainable development partnerships and opportunities through a network of talent, global leaders, corporates, NGOs, and charitable organisations.

James has volunteered with Goods For Good since 2018 - inspired by the work we do he wanted to take more of a front-line role in helping the vulnerable communities we support in the UK and internationally. So, when the role of Facility and Volunteer Coordinator became available the feeling was mutual this was a perfect fit. He is keen to help the charity thrive in whatever way he can, whether that’s helping to grow our volunteer network or finding ways to increase our reach.

James recently attended the COP26 Conference in Glasgow, and has returned to the office full of energy, enthusiasm and ideas. We are excited to have him on board and by the prospect of what we can achieve together. We hope you will join us in welcoming him to the team.
