Goods For Good is delighted to announce the appointment of Alyson Walsh as our newest trustee. Alyson, currently serving as the commercial Director at Farshare UK, brings with her over 25 years of invaluable experience.
With an extensive background in food and retail, Alyson has a deep appreciation of what it means to maximise surplus for social good. Her experience successfully launching and managing high-profile campaigns for the likes of Sainsbury’s, Kingfisher (B&Q and Srewfix) and Fortnum & Mason, will be invaluable as we refine our marketing strategies and expand our reach.

Her role will primarily focus on enhancing our Marketing and Communications efforts, a vital component for expanding our reach and impact. However, her comprehensive experience goes beyond these areas. Her strategic vision will help us to streamline processes, optimise resource utilisation, and create sustainable solutions for surplus management.
Alyson’s appointment comes at a pivotal time for Goods For Good. She is the third addition to our board in recent months, reflecting our commitment to strengthening our leadership team so we are equipped to support the communities we serve. As we look to the future, her experience will be crucial in driving forward our initiatives and ensuring we can continue to support those in need effectively. With her guidance, we are confident we can continue to make a significant difference in the lives of those who are struggling day to day, sometimes making impossible decisions just to survive.
