The support our corporate partners offer varies with each relationship; some of these include volunteering time or services, donating goods, money, services, logistics and warehousing. Below are some of the ways your organisation can get involved and support our work.
By joining our Humanitarian Aid Partnership and becoming a Goods For Good Aid Partner, you'll be helping us source, store and deliver vital goods to those affected by war, conflict, natural disaster or those living in poverty. Quite simply, you'll be helping us achieve more meaningful impact at scale.
The benefits for your organisation include:
Give your employees the time and space to be involved in meaningful humanitarian aid work that really impacts vulnerable communities both in the UK and overseas. We offer volunteering opportunities at our facilities in Watford and Northampton, providing convenient options for teams looking to get involved. We also offer remote volunteering opportunities where team members can support us with their professional skills.
Your excess inventory can find new purpose and create positive change for those in crisis. Transform your overstocks, quality-seconds and returns into high-value aid. We offer organisations a simple, environmentally friendly and socially responsible solution for the redistribution of their unsold and surplus goods. We accept items such as clothing, footwear, bedding, toiletries, hygiene and sanitary products, school supplies and toys.
To continue our operation and achieve our objectives we estimate we need £400,000 a year. Our key challenge is raising the desperately needed funds for logistics costs to deliver our humanitarian goods to those in need both in the UK and overseas. We need funds to deliver the goods which often have to wait in our warehouse until we can afford to move them.
To sustain the increased demand on our team we need to increase our capacity, and to do that we need bigger premises. The impact of the pandemic and subsequent cost-of living and energy crisis have caused many more families to slip into poverty. As a result we’ve seen our activities increase by over 1000%. If you can help us find or fund bigger premises we'd love to hear from you.
Some of our corporate partners support us with the delivery of goods; whether that's financial support to ensure the necessary expenses of weighing, measuring, labelling and transport of goods is covered or with the actual transport and logistics. Without this support we wouldn't be able to deliver vital aid to those in need across the world.
Payroll Giving is a great, tax efficient way to donate on a regular basis. Known as Payroll Giving, Workplace Giving or Give As You Earn, it's a scheme for UK taxpayers to donate money to UK Registered Charities. Once set up, employees can sign-up and support our work by donating through their pay.
By volunteering with Goods For Good you can make a real difference in the lives of others, providing much-needed support to vulnerable communities both in the UK and overseas. We offer corporate team building days at our facilities in Watford, Biggleswade and Northampton.
