What to Expect

On the day, you’ll be part of a collective effort to support families and communities facing poverty, displacement and crisis — both in the UK and around the world. Every box packed will contain essential items that provide practical support, as well as a sense of dignity and care to those receiving them.

  • A World Cup-themed experience, with each team representing a nation
  • Hands-on volunteering, packing essential goods for people in crisis
  • A shared atmosphere, working alongside other businesses towards a common goal
  • A tangible outcome, with every box packed going directly to communities in need

The Impact You'll Be Part Of

In just one two-hour session, your team can:

  • Pack around 30 boxes of essential goods
  • Help divert approximately 180kg of usable items from landfill
  • Prevent around 4,500kg of harmful CO₂ emissions
  • Support up to 150 people with essential supplies

Across the day, that adds up to thousands of items reaching communities who need them most. This is Sport For Good in action.

Why Take Part?

The World Cup is a global moment, connecting millions of people through a shared experience.

Our World Cup Packathon takes that same idea and turns it into something tangible.

For one day, you can take part in something with real-world impact. As teams represent nations on the pitch, here you’ll be working together to support communities across the world — packing essential goods that will reach people facing poverty, displacement and crisis in over 32 countries.

It’s the same spirit of collective effort, just applied differently. Instead of goals, it’s boxes packed. Instead of points on a table, it’s people reached.

And at the end of the day, you can see exactly what you’ve helped make happen.
