Term: Once elected, Goods For Good expects our trustees to commit to a minimum two-year term.
Commitment: Variable, however we are looking of someone who will be hands-on; willing to be aware of our campaigns and provide strategic direction. Trustee meetings are currently held weekdays from 6pm – 8pm once a quarter.
Salary: Trustees serve as unpaid volunteers, however expenses such as travel costs will be reimbursed.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced marketing and communications professional with extensive experience of marketing and communications strategy, as well as managing and mitigating reputational risk.
You’ll have successfully built the marketing strategy, brand positioning and awareness of an early-stage service (or product), and may have previously supported or advised small organisations or teams on their marketing and communications. Experience of operating within a board in a charitable, public sector or commercial organisation is desirable but not essential.
If you’re inspired by what we do, and have the skills and experience that could help us increase our impact further, please contact our CEO Rosalind Bluestone to express your interest: rosalind@goodsforgood.org.uk The next step will be to arrange a brief, initial conversation over the phone with our CEO to get a mutual sense of fit. We know that, ultimately, you’ll be choosing us as much as we are choosing you.
Please note: Deadline for application is midday on Friday 29th March We expect to interview candidates on a rolling basis, so early applications are encouraged.
Just as Goods For Good serves everyone around the world regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation or age, we welcome applications from everyone.
