Yulia is eight years old and lives with her mother Nina. Not so long ago, they had a happy family, but in 2020, Yulia tragically lost her father. Understandably, the family suffered badly from the loss and it has had an adverse effect on Yulia’s emotional and psychological state. It is very hard for Nina raising Yulia by herself and the loss of her husband has caused huge financial strain, but thanks to the support we’ve been able to provide she doesn’t lose hope.
In addition to the seasonal clothes, footwear and stationery we’ve been able to provide we were also able to provide computers to the local community centre which means Yulia has been able to take part in online English language classes. This has given her opportunity to learn as well as stay connected during the pandemic and a very difficult time in her life.
