Alyson is an established senior Charity Director with a remarkable track record of devising and implementing effective fundraising, marketing, and volunteering strategies. Her current role at FareShare, a leading food redistribution charity, showcases her commitment to tackling food poverty and her ability to drive impactful change. Alyson brings to Goods For Good a wealth of experience from her 25-year career in the corporate sector, particularly in the food and retail industries. Her extensive background includes notable tenures at major retailers such as Sainsbury's, Kingfisher (B&Q / Screwfix), and Fortnum & Mason, where she successfully launched both UK and global communication and product campaigns.

One of Alyson's unique qualities is her self-confessed identity as a 'Womble' — someone who loves to see surplus products maximised for social good. This passion aligns perfectly with our mission to harness the efforts of business industry to unlock large volumes of quality, surplus goods and re-distribute them as humanitarian aid to people in crisis.
