After more than 11 years of remarkable leadership, Goods For Good is preparing for an important new chapter. We have now begun the process for recruiting a new CEO. Once that appointment is made, our Founder and current CEO, Rosalind Bluestone MBE, will move into the newly created role of Lifetime President — ensuring her vision, values and ambassadorial leadership remain central to the charity’s future.
Since the charity started in 2014, Rosalind has built a powerful movement of kindness and purpose that has grown into a force for social and environmental good. Under her leadership, Goods For Good has delivered essential items to millions of people in crisis, built partnerships with hundreds of UK businesses, and developed a unique model that combines humanitarian aid with environmental responsibility. By giving new life to surplus goods, the charity has supported communities through some of their hardest moments while reducing waste and promoting a more circular, sustainable economy.
This marks a natural and positive transition for Goods For Good as the charity enters its next phase of growth. The move reflects both the organisation’s stability and the strength of the leadership team that Roz has built over the past decade. “Rosalind has given more than a decade of extraordinary service and leadership,” said Mark Ashman, Chair of Trustees. “Her energy, compassion and commitment have shaped the charity we see today. The Board has been working closely with Roz to ensure a smooth and considered transition, so that Goods For Good is well placed to continue growing its impact both in the UK and overseas.”
Starting Goods For Good has been the most extraordinary journey. What began as a simple idea has become a global network of kindness, with businesses and charities working together to help those most in need. I am incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved and deeply grateful to everyone who has supported us along the way. As I hand over the reins, my commitment to the charity remains as strong as ever, and I look forward to supporting the next leader as they take Goods For Good forward.
