A Night of Glamour and Giving: Celebrating a Decade of Impact at Elstree Studios

Last night, we welcomed over 250 esteemed guests to an unforgettable evening of glamour and philanthropy at the iconic Elstree Studios. This special event marked a significant milestone for Goods For Good, celebrating ten years of delivering life-changing aid while also paying tribute to 100 years of cinematic excellence at Elstree.

The evening of celebration and reflection was made possible thanks to the generous support of our sponsors and table hosts. We are incredibly grateful to My 1st Years, Comfy Group, The Grove, Kessler Group and Goods For Good mentor and ambassador, Andrew Jacobs for their commitment to our work and for making this night so special.  Together, we have achieved something truly remarkable — delivering over £83.7 million worth of aid to 6 million people worldwide, while also saving more than 2 million KG of goods from going to landfill.

Tonight is a celebration of what’s possible when people and purpose come together. Goods For Good started with a simple desire to do more—and it’s only through the belief, generosity and collaboration of our partners, supporters and community that we’ve reached this milestone. Together, we’ve proven that surplus can become support, and that kindness—when shared—can change lives.

Rosalind Bluestone, Founder and CEO, Goods For Good

For ten years, we’ve been turning surplus into support — redirecting new and pre-loved essentials to people in crisis.

We were also deeply honoured by the presence and support of The King’s Representative, Lord-Lieutenant Robert Voss CBE. Special thanks go to Cllr Jeremy Newmark, Leader of Hertsmere Borough Council and Chair of Elstree Studios, the High Sheriff of Hertfordshire, Annie Brewster and to actor Michelle Collins for joining us and helping to make the night one to remember.

Our thanks also go to the generous individuals and partners who hosted tables and helped bring the evening to life: Chris Andrew and Bernard Murphy from The Grove, Ange, Loraine and Monique De Napoli from Red Media, Daniel Rubin from the Dune Group, Jonny Sitton from My 1st Years, Jamie Moryouseff from Comfy Group, Simon Glyn, Ann and Charles Kessler, Navdeep Sheera, Andrew Jacobs, Maria Samoto-Le Dous from UNIQLO, Leslie Morgan from Two Blues Solar, Jeremy Tarn from Tarn & Tarn, Danny Bluestone from CACI, Meiqin Yan from BlackRock, Nigel Murchison from RHM Graphics, Ruth Rabin, Tracey Lacey-Smith and Steve Ryan, Andrew Soning from James Andrew International, Arthur Duke from Live-in Guardians, Alison Alexander from Branue, John Kellaway from Brand Infusion, and Karen Saragoussi from TeamTogs. And of course, we couldn't forget the incredible team of people and volunteers who made the event happen.  Our thanks go to Soul Deli Studios, Jonny Bluestone Events, Jaden Moss from Tiger Media, Karen Ackerman, Ella Charkes and Jamie Brown from Two Boys, Shkelzen Kernaja, as well as the student volunteers and photographers.

Throughout the evening, guests engaged in inspiring conversations, heard powerful stories of impact, and came together with a shared vision of making a lasting difference. The event underscored the power of collaboration, showing how businesses, philanthropists, and supporters can work together to create real change. To everyone who joined us in celebrating this milestone we want to say, thank you! Your support fuels our mission and helps us to create brighter futures for those facing unimaginable hardship. Here’s to the next decade of doing good — together.

Looking Ahead

Looking ahead, we know our work is far from done. Global crises are escalating. Hardship is deepening, and the need for fast, effective humanitarian support continues to grow.

To meet that need, we have to evolve.

  • We need space
  • We need infrastructure
  • We need a permanent home

That’s why we’re working towards the creation of a Humanitarian Aid Hub — a central base for our team and a collaborative space that brings together charity partners, volunteers and logistics experts. A place where we can receive, sort and distribute vital aid with greater speed and efficiency.

By building this hub, we’ll be able to scale our impact and support more people in crisis, both here in the UK and across the world.

With the support of our partners and community, we’re committed to making this vision a reality, so we can keep showing up when and where we’re needed most.

Turning Surplus Into Support

From supporting displaced families fleeing conflict to providing essentials for vulnerable communities across the UK and beyond, our work continues to bring dignity, relief, and hope to those who need it most. Over the past decade, we have saved 2 million kg of goods from landfill, repurposing essential items to ensure they reach those in need instead of going to waste. By working collaboratively with businesses and logistics partners, we transform surplus stock into vital aid, reducing environmental impact while supporting vulnerable communities. If you want to learn more about how you and your organisation. can support our work, we'd love to hear from you.
