It was a wonderful day made even more special by the people that were able to join us. It was a privilege to have Councillors Asif Khan, Bilqees Mauthoor and Deputy Mayor for Watford Aga Dychton stop by to show their support as well former Watford and England Footballer, and loyal supporter of Goods for Good, Luther Blissett who did us the honour of cutting the magnificent cake (pictured below) that was made by David Bright.
Due to the Pandemic and BREXIT our 7th year has been our most challenging so far but our small team has gone above and beyond to ensure that despite these challenging times we continue to reach those most in need.
In the last 12months alone we have supported over 1million vulnerable people both in the UK and internationally, delivering over £6million worth of essentials that would’ve been destined for landfill or incineration. And in 2021, despite undergoing major heart surgery, CEO Rosalind together with her small team also launched our Prams For Good and Sport For Good initiatives. So, it was a pleasure to finally be able to celebrate what we’ve achieved with those that have shared the journey so far with us.
