Meet Mei Yan

Mei's extensive expertise as a chartered accountant, spanning over a decade, will provide invaluable support to the charity. With a diverse background in finance and budgeting, she has held prominent positions in investment management, payments, and higher education, both within large multinational corporations and small businesses. Mei's multifaceted experience will be instrumental in steering Goods For Good towards new horizons, empowering us to navigate financial challenges with precision and make strategic decisions to optimise our resources effectively.

Of the appointment, Mei said, “ I came from a humble fishing village in China, where basic necessities were a daily struggle for my family. Today, countless communities still endure similar hardships or worse. My dream is to make a difference by helping these communities not just survive, but thrive, and I see my role as a Trustee for Goods For Good as the perfect opportunity to bring this dream to life. I am thrilled to dedicate my time to this extraordinary charity, knowing that we are not only empowering lives but also saving our planet by recycling goods and diverting them from landfill.”

We are confident that Mei's unique perspective and unwavering dedication to the cause will have a profound impact on the lives of the children we support.

Meet Kelly Goosen

Kelly has an impressive background in international development and leading successful charitable initiatives. Her dedication to fostering sustainable solutions aligns perfectly with our values, and we are thrilled to have her on board. Kelly's strategic thinking and commitment to empowering communities will undoubtedly play a vital role in helping to shape the future of Goods For Good. Of the appointment, Kelly said, “As a trustee, I aim to leverage my expertise in data strategy and sustainability to optimise Goods For Good's operations and enhance their impact. By working with the Board of Trustees I will be looking to streamline the supply chain, improve resource allocations and ultimately, transform Goods For Good into an even more effective force in humanitarian aid relief, reaching those in need around the world with greater efficiency and efficacy.”

Together, We Are Working Towards a Better Future

With Mei and Kelly joining our team, Goods For Good is now equipped with a diverse group of individuals who share a common vision – to create lasting change and build a better future for those in need. As Trustees, they will play a crucial role in guiding our strategic direction, fostering partnerships, and ensuring that our initiatives continue to make a meaningful difference.

Rosalind Bluestone MBE said, “At Goods For Good, we firmly believe that real change happens when like-minded individuals come together with a shared purpose. Kelly and Mei embody this belief, and their passion, experience, and commitment will undoubtedly inspire all of us to do even more.”
