This crucial role will enable us to extend our reach and impact far beyond what would be possible otherwise. As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will be the backbone of our volunteer program, ensuring that our volunteers are engaged, supported, and empowered to make a real difference in our community.
The Volunteer Coordinator role at Goods For Good is vital in building and nurturing our volunteer network. You'll re-engage existing volunteers and recruit new ones to help collect, sort, pack, and distribute goods. By enhancing our volunteer management practices, you'll ensure our volunteers feel supported and valued. Additionally, you'll oversee corporate packing days, where companies contribute to our mission by organising employee groups for hands-on support. Once the goods are prepared, our Operations team ensures they reach those in need. Join us and play a crucial part in amplifying our impact!
Key aims of the role:
By effectively coordinating and managing our volunteers, we will be able to significantly increase the volume and efficiency of our goods collection, sorting, packing, and distribution processes. This will allow us to provide more essential items to individuals and communities in need, expanding our reach and enhancing our ability to respond to urgent needs and that our mission is realised on a larger scale.
