My 1st Years

It's amazing to see the power of collaboration and the capacity of individuals and companies to come together for the greater good. We have been greatly inspired by the tremendous efforts of My 1st Years to help our mission of providing aid to those in need.

Supporting us since 2017

Since 2017 My 1st Years have provided Goods For Good with invaluable warehousing and logistics support as well as donating thousands of pounds worth of clothing and toys for families in need,  in some of the poorest areas in the world including Moldova and Ukraine. 

Humanitarian Aid Hub

In 2022, in response to the war in Ukraine, the team at My 1st Years offered their help.  At the time we were receiving large volumes of goods from community initiatives and donor companies and we didn't have the capacity to manage the response. We urgently needed somewhere to store the donations before we could deliver them to the millions of people fleeing the country. The team at My 1st Years offered us a lifeline and opened up their warehouse in Northampton to act as an Aid Hub. 

My 1st Years have been working with Goods for Good and donating our products to help vulnerable families in need [since 2017]. It was important for us to continue our support with their new Rescue Project in Ukraine by opening our warehouse in Northampton as a 'drop-off hub' for donations of food and essential items. As a brand, My 1st Years are here to celebrate all of little ones' milestones and our thoughts are with all the families and children affected by this terrible conflict.

Since then the warehouse has become a distribution Hub for Goods For Good allowing us to direct large volumes of goods from donor organisations as well as plan mixed loads of goods to the charity partners we support.

More Than Just  A Warehouse

What sets this partnership apart is the incredible display of unity, compassion, and shared purpose. This short video demonstrates how our relationship with My 1st Years is impacting the lives of children and families, creating positive change across local communities. In an inspiring gesture of solidarity My 1st Years graciously hosted an event at their warehouse for Goods For Good and our charity partner Herts Sports Partnership (HSP). This event was to support HSP with their Fit Fed And Read holiday program, which benefits hundreds of disadvantaged children in Hertfordshire.

Clothe A Child In Need

In June 2023 My 1st Years pledged their support to clothe a child in need, with every purchase made. Through our partnership, they aim to clothe 1 million children in need every year. Commenting on the partnership, Jonny Sitton, Founder and CEO of My 1st Years said: Goods For Good is a fantastic charity with an incredible mission that we are very proud to continue supporting. As one of the largest baby and children's gifting brands in the world, My 1st Years have partnered with them to enhance our donation and clothe a child for every order we make as a business. We currently ship over 600,000 orders a year and this now gives us even more purpose to achieve our goal in the next few years of 1 million orders per year. We're aiming to clothe 1 million children in need every year! We hope all of our customers and followers will join us in supporting this mission, it will mean so much to us.

Corporate Volunteering

The team at My 1st Years volunteer their time to help support our work. From warehouse and sales, to marketing and  finance, the team have helped with sorting and packing goods. They also support us by hosting corporate volunteer packing sessions with other companies  at their premises, which we arrange and supervise.
