Thousands of families in Nepal are facing the loss of homes, livelihoods and loved ones following the catastrophic floods and debris avalanche that struck the country on 26 August 2026.
At time of writing, nearly 1,400 people have reportedly been killed across Nepal and Tibet, with more than 5,300 still missing. Homes, roads, bridges and essential infrastructure have been destroyed, leaving some communities cut off and making an already immense relief effort even more difficult.
Goods For Good is aiming to send two containers of new, essential goods to Nepal to support people and families affected by the disaster.
We need to raise £20,000 to prepare and deliver them. You can donate to the Nepal Relief Appeal now.
One container is ready to go. It includes blankets, baby blankets and sleeping bags donated by Comfy Group.
The second will carry thermal clothing and other items donated by UNIQLO and other partners. But first, those goods need to be sorted and packed.
To prepare and deliver both containers, we need to raise £20,000. This will help cover the equipment and coordination needed for our packing sessions, shipping to Nepal and local transport to get the goods to communities affected by the floods.
We also urgently need people to help pack and prepare the goods for the second container. Packing sessions are open to individuals, community groups and corporate teams, with dates available in October.

Goods For Good is a UK charity that redistributes new surplus clothing, bedding, toiletries and other essential goods to people affected by poverty, displacement and humanitarian crises.
We work through trusted charity partners who understand the communities they serve, can identify what is genuinely needed and have the local infrastructure to distribute goods effectively.
We are not a specialist disaster-response charity, so any decision to respond to an emergency must build on this established way of working. In Nepal, working with the Community Self Reliance Centre (CSRC) allows us to do exactly that.
CSRC is a Nepalese charity with more than three decades of experience working alongside marginalised and landless communities. Through its established local relationships and work in disaster-risk management and community-led emergency planning, CSRC will help identify what affected communities need and oversee the distribution of the goods once they reach Nepal.

“Comfy Group, UNIQLO and NEXT have donated the goods. Volunteers here in the UK will help us prepare them, and CSRC’s team in Nepal will guide where they are needed and oversee their distribution. Those relationships are what make this response possible.
“We now need to raise £20,000 to prepare and deliver both containers. People can also join one of our packing sessions to help prepare the containers for shipment. Whether they donate, volunteer or do both, they can help get this support to families affected by the floods.”
We need volunteers to sort and pack donated goods before they are dispatched to Nepal.
Packing sessions will take place on Tuesday 6, Thursday 8, Friday 9 and Sunday 11 October at 2 Millfield, Woodshots Meadow, Croxley Industrial Park, Watford, Hertfordshire WD18 8YX.
There will be one- and two-hour sessions during the weekdays, with options between 8am and 7pm. On Saturday and Sunday, there will be three-hour sessions between 10am and 5pm.
