As the world witnesses the distressing events unfolding in the Middle East, Goods For Good has been collaborating with our partners to assess the immediate needs of those affected and to determine the most effective ways we can provide support during this hour of need.
The recent earthquake in Morocco has left many without shelter, and as the temperatures drop, the situation becomes increasingly dire. We are working tirelessly to provide essential relief in the form of tents to those seeking refuge in the recently set-up refugee camp.
We are collecting goods for those affected by the conflict in Ukraine and the Türkiye-Syria Earthquake. Due to strict border regulations we can only accept pre-identified items, so please consult our list before donating.
As the death toll passes 35,000, and as hundreds of lorries stacked up at the Turkish borders, without the correct permissions to enter with aid, Goods For Good filled a flight, donated by Virgin Atlantic, with 64 pallets of clothing and other essential aid to send vital aid to the victims of the Türkiye-Syria earthquake.
Goods For Good staff and Board of Trustees are working in partnership with our charity partner HRIF to identify the needs of those affected by the catastrophic Türkiye-Syria earthquake. The death toll is currently reported to be 33,000 and expected to rise. Find our more about how you can support us.
Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February, we have been working closely with our network of trusted charity partners to deliver aid to a number of humanitarian aid hubs at the borders in Poland, Moldova, Romania, Hungary as well as in Ukraine itself.
Our story begins in Luton Airport on a Wednesday evening with a flight direct into Lublin, Poland just 80km from the Ukrainian border. Our mission; to participate in a small way in the humanitarian effort of Polish people to support their Ukrainian friends who had fled their homes under the threat of the Russian invasion.
