Goods For Good staff and Board of Trustees wish to express our solidarity with the people of Türkiye and Syria in their hour of need, and to send our deepest condolences to those who have lost loved ones.
Following the devastating news of the Türkiye-Syria earthquake almost a week ago, Goods For Good have been working closely with our logistics partner HRIF to identify the needs of those affected by the catastrophic Türkiye-Syria earthquake, which occurred near the city of Gaziantep in the early hours of Monday 6th February. Reports suggest that over 33,000 have been killed as hundreds of buildings collapsed, these figures continue to rise. Many are asking how they can help support our work sending vital aid to those affected by the Türkiye-Syria earthquake.
Together with my staff and Board of Trustees I wish to express our solidarity with the people of Türkiye (Turkey) and Syria in their hour of need, and to send our deepest condolences to those who have lost loved ones.

Sadly, at time of writing, 550 lorries are stacked up at the Turkish border without the correct permissions to enter with aid. We are experts in delivering relief aid and whilst the bureaucracy with Turkish authorities has been intense for us over the last few days, we are pleased to report we have a plane of humanitarian aid relief to leave Heathrow airport on Tuesday 14 February. The flight will take 60 pallets of aid including medication, clothing and bedding to those affected by the earthquake which caused devastation to thousands last week.In addition another 60 pallets have been pledged by uk companies and will include clothing, footwear and toys.
It's with deepest thanks to our partners Comfy Group, The Dune Group, Hunter Boots Ltd, Hobbycraft, UNIQLO, Next, DURBIN GROUP PLC, My 1st Years, SEKO Logistics, and the continued support and generosity of our charity partners InKind Direct and HRIF, we will be able to help some of the thousands in urgent need of help.
