As the international community gathers for COP28 we're calling for a renewed focus on sustainable humanitarian practices. We want to transform the narrative beyond COP28 and create a legacy that benefits both people and the planet.
Imagine, every time you shop for groceries, clothes, or gifts, a portion of your spending goes toward providing vital aid to those in need. Make this Black Friday green - make your purchases count in a meaningful way and turn the act of shopping into a force for good.
In an interconnected world that transcends borders, Goods For Good has harnessed the power of collaboration to carve a unique path in the landscape of philanthropy. Over the past nine years, our journey has been defined by a commitment to building a movement rooted in kindness and compassion, creating a lasting impact on vulnerable communities worldwide.
Personalised children’s brand My 1st Years is today announcing that with every product purchased, they will support Goods For Good and clothe a child in need. This pledge of generosity is significant and will impact the lives of the people we support.
Goods for Good is today announcing a new campaign to urge people to donate goods to our eBay shop, to help us raise funds and keep our vital work going. The initiative, Labels For Good, is being set up in response to an overwhelming need for our services and as a way to contribute to sustainability efforts in fashion.
Insurance company Aviva, luxury department store Harrods, footwear brand Dune London, clothing apparel company UNIQLO and sport and footwear brand Nike, are amongst those organisations working with Goods For Good donating money, services and overstocked goods. Their support means life-changing essentials will reach families in need in some of the world’s most vulnerable places such as Ukraine, the Middle East, Nigeria and Moldova.
On Wednesday 8th June 2022, we were delighted to welcome a delegation from global clothing apparel company, UNIQLO to our Head Office in Watford, Hertfordshire. It was a chance to thank our Aid Partner for the support they have given us over the last five years.
The COVID-19 pandemic, cost of living and energy crisis and the war in Ukraine has caused many more families to slip into poverty. As a result we have seen our network of charity partners grow by 100% as we work hard to respond to the huge increase in need over the last two years. As the need in the community continues to grow, we have launched our Humanitarian Aid Partnership; an opportunity for corporate organisations, businesses of any size and individuals to collaborate with the charity; either by donating goods, donating funds or fundraising.
As the world collectively prepares for COP26, the urgency to address climate change has never been more pressing. In this critical moment, Goods For Good recognises the unique role it plays in bringing corporates and communities together. Now, more than ever, leveraging our ability to unite different stakeholders is essential. It is through this collaboration that we can make a real impact in protecting our planet for future generations.
