When people think of Savile Row, they think of elegance, heritage, and immaculate tailoring — it's unlikely they think of humanitarian aid. But behind the sharp cuts and fine fabrics, The Savile Row Company has quietly been supporting a mission that goes far beyond fashion. Since 2021, they've partnered with Goods For Good to turn surplus clothing into a source of dignity, confidence, and practical support for people facing some of life’s toughest challenges.
Over the past three years, they’ve donated more than 800kg of high-quality clothing — including shirts, jackets, and other premium items — supporting vulnerable people in the UK and around the world. These donations have reached individuals experiencing homelessness, displacement, and financial hardship, offering practical help as well as a boost to confidence and dignity.
This year, the partnership has taken on new energy through a dedicated campaign: Suit Up to Lift Up. The initiative invites customers to donate their gently worn suits to be passed on through Goods For Good to people preparing for life-changing moments — like job interviews, court appearances, or their first steps back into the workforce.
The Savile Row Company is matching every donation, suit-for-suit, with items from their own collection — doubling the impact. It’s a powerful, practical expression of solidarity: one good shirt given, one good shirt gifted, and countless fresh starts made possible.
“This partnership with The Savile Row Company shows what’s possible when purpose and sustainability come together. By matching quality with conscience, they’re not only reducing waste but creating real opportunities for people at turning points in their lives. It’s a model we hope more brands will be inspired to follow."

This partnership also takes aim at one of the fashion industry’s biggest challenges: textile waste. The UK sends an estimated 350,000 tonnes of clothing to landfill every year — much of it still wearable. Globally, the fashion industry contributes around 10% of carbon emissions annually, driven by overproduction and throwaway culture.
The Savile Row Company is challenging this model by choosing to donate, not discard. Their garments — crafted to the highest standards — are designed to last, and through this partnership, they’re getting the longer life they were made for.
Each suit or shirt passed on through Goods For Good is one less item wasted, one less contribution to landfill, and one more opportunity to support someone in need. It’s a simple but powerful way to align quality with conscience — reducing environmental harm while extending real, tangible value to people who need it most.
What makes this partnership powerful is its dual impact. It supports people facing serious challenges while also promoting a more circular and responsible fashion system. The Savile Row Company’s commitment to sustainability is not just about reducing waste — it's about leading by example and showing how the fashion industry can be a force for good.
We’re incredibly grateful for their continued support, and proud to be working together toward a future where nothing is wasted, and everyone is valued — helping us drive forward a more sustainable and compassionate world.
