On Wednesday 8th June 2022, we were delighted to welcome a delegation from the global clothing apparel company, UNIQLO to our Head Office in Watford, Hertfordshire. Five of the sustainability team flew over from Japan to see us.
Since 2018 our partnership with UNIQLO has helped Goods For Good distribute £1.47 million-worth of goods which is the equivalent to 116,000kg of clothing to vulnerable people in need. Through their reuse and recycling scheme, we have been able to support communities in need in the UK, Moldova, Romania, Poland and Northern Iraq.
To show their on-going support to our work and to continue to help us with vital funds to operate, UNIQLO was our first corporate partner to join our newly launched Humanitarian Aid Partnership. We are so proud to welcome them as a flagship partner, leading the way in helping us to continue our essential humanitarian aid work.
