Launching Gagauzia's first Soccer School

In the southern part of Moldova, in the heart of Gagauzia, a remarkable project is taking shape — a project that is nurturing young hearts and minds, sowing the seeds of aspiring dreams, and leaving a lasting impact on the lives of thousands of children. It's the inauguration of Gagauzia's very first soccer school, a dream brought to life through a powerful collaboration between the Moldovan Football Federation, Hope4, the Mayor's Office of Ceadîr-Lunga, and the Gagauzia Sport Youth Department.

At Goods For Good, we believe in the transformative power of sports, over the years, through our partnerships with organisations such as UNIQLO, Nike, Puma, Adidas and New Balance we've delivered sports kit and footwear to communities in the UK and overseas to enable them to access sport activities. In 2021 we launched our Sports For Good initiative and it's through this initiative that we've been supporting our charity partner Hope4 to support the dreams of young athletes in Moldova. 

This project signifies more than just a place to learn soccer; it's about instilling values of teamwork, discipline, and resilience in these young hearts. It's about improving the mental and emotional well-being of these children and inspiring them to chase their dreams, both on and off the field. It's about unity on the soccer pitch, which serves as an inspiration in the hearts of our future leaders. We are proud to support this endeavour and to see how our contribution of sportswear, sports kit, and footwear for the children who attend the soccer school is helping move dreams forward.

Together, through this remarkable project, we are helping to nurture talent, and empowering young minds to reach their full potential. Unity on the field is indeed inspiration in the hearts of Gagauzia's children.
